Projects introduces new challenges

Projects must exist in a reality that constantly changes, with new challenges and business goals.  Traditional project models are not sufficient in these situations.  The governance model must be able to handle evolutionary (constantly changing) projects. Current research is trying to find new project models that better conform to the reality we work in today.

Our experience is that the key to optimal project management is very much the same as the governing mechanisms for companies and organizations.  That is, with clear ownership and governance models to manage and control the project.  A proactive, governance model focuses on impact and results.
